it's what the title says. what's the last mundane thing you did?

i just shoveled a ton of snow.  Cry

far from the worst i've ever dealt with, though. every time this happens i think, "i should get a snowblower." and then i don't.

I don't got nowhere to be, so I think I'm going to see how much the clear skies and sun will melt the snow off my car before I actually go out and do anything about it myself lol
it's going to be hideously cold here for the foreseeable future so i don't expect much melting to occur, otherwise i'd do that, too.
i'm not supposed to be working today but a customer just texted me because an issue they're having isn't getting attention from the right people. sigh.
I just petted my cat. Big Grin
i just got through 150 emails at work. every time i have a day off i have a ton of emails to come back to.

you have spare kidneys. though liver grows back, I think. they only take a bit of it
someone at my job filled out a Jira ticket by copy-pasting nonsense from ChatGPT that does not in any way help me complete the ticket.

exactly the kind of bullshit i knew people would be doing once they got their hands on it.
I read a real physical book today!  Big Grin The words were long cause it's the founding father's words. I can keep up but wow i have to keep taking breaks to digest them. It's fun!! My attention span is healing!
I have to go into the office today and
I.
Don't.
WANNA!

>:(
I work remotely. It took a hot minute to get used to it. Obviously, there's the benefit of never commuting again and never having to see any annoying co-worker's face again. The downside is getting comfortable with doing important work in a shitty apartment. I would feel differently about it if I had my own office space in a house. I am very finnicky when it comes to space and elbow room, particularly because I'm tall.
