so, we have a reputation system. i only allow positive reputation. but honestly, nobody seems to be using it? and it's not really as fun as an actual reaction system. anybody particularly want me to keep it? if not, i'll just disable it. i don't think there's any pressing need for this kind of gamification.

i don't think tags are an option here. they are kind of an obsolete feature in general.

Can there be a like system instead? In a video game forum I used to be a part of, there was basically a like button and you could see underneath the post who and how many people liked the post. Every user would have a counter for how many likes they received in total.

googling around suggests MyBB does or did have a Like button feature, or had a plugin for it.

will see if that's available. i would definitely go for that over "reputation."
