i just shoveled a ton of snow.
far from the worst i've ever dealt with, though. every time this happens i think, "i should get a snowblower." and then i don't.
I don't got nowhere to be, so I think I'm going to see how much the clear skies and sun will melt the snow off my car before I actually go out and do anything about it myself lol
i'm not supposed to be working today but a customer just texted me because an issue they're having isn't getting attention from the right people. sigh.
i made avocado toast this morning. burning through my future mortgage one homemade breakfast at a time. it was good, i put ghost pepper sauce on it
also its 32F here. My apt is insulated well though, its been in the 40s for months and i dont think ive used my heater since November.
I read a real physical book today! The words were long cause it's the founding father's words. I can keep up but wow i have to keep taking breaks to digest them. It's fun!! My attention span is healing!
I work remotely. It took a hot minute to get used to it. Obviously, there's the benefit of never commuting again and never having to see any annoying co-worker's face again. The downside is getting comfortable with doing important work in a shitty apartment. I would feel differently about it if I had my own office space in a house. I am very finnicky when it comes to space and elbow room, particularly because I'm tall.
