Stripping Whites

LAs Totally Awesome cleaner did not work for stripping whites when amply applied to a bucket of very hot water and left to soak for 2 hours. I imagine it would do some good as a degreaser if used as a spot treatment or if a large amount was used, but at this point I'm more inclined to move on to another product. Possibly good ol' Dawn.
