  One Night in Bangkok

So like, are we agreed that the song "One Night in Bangkok" is just about trolling for gay sex in Thailand? The lyrics don't even disguise it. It's amazing they play it in public places for like 40 years now.

I'm not complaining, the track's a banger.

Yes, I am shamelessly advertising here. What of it?

If you're selling books or anything else, you can promote it on this forum. (If there's not an appropriate subforum, just ask, I can make one.)

You can find my books here: https://www.amazon.com/stores/J.-D.-Huff...B07TCQ1Q18

Note that they should be read in this order:

  • Totality: The Militiaman
  • Totality: Kina's Lament (side story)
  • Totality: The Star Mother
  • Totality: Rise of the Sentinel (side story)
  • Totality: Fortress Ghosts
  • Totality: Zero Avalon

There's a "final" book called Earthblade that I need to edit and publish. I put "final" in quotes because I do have ideas/outlines for "bookend" novels (one prequel set prior to The Militiaman, and a sequel set after Earthblade.) I also have a handful of side stories left to publish, but those might be put in a Totality Chronicles volume.

Also if you are broke as hell and would just like to read my books, message me. I will simply send you ebooks. I also have physical copies for sale which I would gladly sign for anyone who is interested.

  The Simple Sabotage Field Manual

The CIA declassified their field manual for sabotaging fascism back in 2008.

Weirdly, it is very popular on Project Gutenberg right now: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/26184

Also uploading a copy here, for posterity.

It's full of good advice for when you're fighting fascism! Wherever that may be!

Back when Bitcoin was new I had like a tiny fraction of it because even then I too little computing power to do anything.

A year or two ago I bought like $60 worth and sold it for $80.

Other than that I've had no involvement in BTC, per se.

Back in 2020, however, I helped launch JokeCoin, which you can still find over here: https://github.com/clowncrew/jokecoin-DASH-old

It was a fork of PIVX and thus DASH (hence the DASH in the URL).

The whole point was that it was a joke. It wasn't meant to be worth any money. In fact, we chose PIVX and made sure to go with one of the CPU-bound algos to ensure it wouldn't be a ridiculous electricity hog, either.

Anyway, the feds heard about it and Laurelai Bailey showed up under an alias and got a number of people we didn't know involved, and they preemptively launched the coin and minted/mined a bunch of it, after which we shut it down and disavowed any involvement.

Some of you already know this story. Kind of weird to imagine that happened.

Anyway, the code for Bitcoin, which is still the heart of everything that isn't Ethereum-based, is kinda neat for the mathematical bits, but as C++ code it's pretty poorly organized and I did not at all enjoy hacking on it.

You should probably not play with cryptocurrency even though a lot of people will say you should.

Funny how you never hear about him anymore. It's like the second the elites realized the common people loved him and supported his actions, they decided to do a total blackout on covering him.

I hope his commissary is forever overflowing.

Resistance Cinema: A Comprehensive Social Justice & Human Rights Film List

“Moving together towards a films-based human rights curriculum for K-12 students at home or in school.”

This is a huge list of films that touch on topics of human rights and social justice. The plan is to keep working to make it comprehensive and eventually add additional topics, like LGBTQ history and Gender Identity. But I need your help.

Please visit the link and view the list. Add a comment to add resources and share the list. Together we can make a difference.
