Sometimes, you may be on a work, or school or lab computer and wish to run or install software which is not permitted. Maybe that software is print drivers, maybe it's some crazy gaming shit: I don't care and I can't help you if you get fired for this.

What I do know is that technically, you can often bypass very basic windows software security with a simple command.

Paste the text below into notepad and save the file as a batch file, "starter.bat" NOT a txt text file.

When you need to "install printer drivers" drag and drop your program executable (exe) on to starter.bat

Paste this into notepad:

I will start.

One time I worked with a guy who did food demos for middle school students. He told me, "When you cut off a divet, save that thing, they can stitch it back on!"

Great advice, when you cut off a hunk of your finger, don't throw it out. The people who sew these things back on have a ton of practice and teeny tiny needles and thread. 

How'd this guy learn? Didn't save the divet! Takes a lot longer to heal.

The National Institutes of Health have a great tool (for now) showing all of the funding that is currently frozen for research around the country. This includes millions of dollars to state colleges across New Jersey, supporting hundreds of jobs if not thousands, and an equally vital educational experience for the doctors and scientists of the next 10 to 20 years. Lifesaving experimental drugs which can be used to save the life of an elderly person who contracts a serious case of Covid, just to cherry pick an example, are wholly beholding to the NIH grant process.

i don't plan to make engaging with this feature "required" or anything. it'll just be a fun thing for those who want in on that aspect.
